REJOICE PHIRI

Joicee has been colouring hair since 2001, learning the craft in London before taking on an education role for a major player in India’s emerging hair scene. She landed in Melbourne in 2014 and took a place on the shibui colour team where she furthered her love and appreciation for intuitive colouring.

Hey! I’m Dean from Tullamore, Ireland. I’ve been in the hairdressing world for over 16years and fell in love with Melbourne the moment I arrived in 2019. I feel like I’ve found my place at shibui where I’ve been able to really hone in on my colour skills, focusing on beautiful, natural results that grow out softly, giving my clients longevity in their colour.

Meet Tchayan (Chay)

Straight out of Paris and is doing a winter residency with us with a view to a potential long term stay. He comes from a long line of hairdressers, his approach feels instinctive, effortless, and deeply considered. Whilst English is not his first language, he speaks the language of colour and is a great communicator, taking time to understand each client and translate that into colour that is subtle, modern, and enduring..
